These sessions take place at a quiet little pond in Lake Grove and are designed to capture soft, whimsical moments in a unique outdoor setting. Whether it’s your kids, your family, or just the two of you, this setup works beautifully for all of it ✨ Think calm water, cozy textures, and that peaceful, tucked away vibe that feels like a hidden gem.
These sessions are perfect for couples, young families, or children on their own (ages 3+ who can sit independently). For the best experience and flow, sessions are limited to families of up to 4.

Sessions are scheduled back to back to make the most of the lighting, so arriving early and ready is key ⏰
The pond is accessed by a short downhill dirt path, about a 2 minute walk from where you’ll park. Some areas may feel a little steep, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the walk down, especially for little ones. Sneakers are strongly encouraged, and you can change footwear when you get down to the pond.
Plan to arrive at least 5 minutes early so you’re down at the pond and ready to start right on time.

The canoe is positioned so that no one is actually sitting over water. Parents will be right next to the canoe the entire time to spot and assist as needed. After your session, I carefully edit the final images to extend the water and remove any visible support, creating that fully “on the water” look you see in the finished gallery ✨
This allows you to get that beautiful, dreamy look without compromising safety.
